Juice from de-stemmed grapes is is fermented and then barrel aged for 16 months. A deeply coloured wine with just a hint of youth. The nose is pungent, lots of plum and red fruit is accompanied by a little savoury hint. On the palate the wine is spicey with firm tannins but with a smooth finish.
