Vigna di Sessina is made using the best selection of grapes from its namesake vineyard, part of the Dievole property. The fossil-rich soil, originating from a sandstone known as “Macigno”, bestows the wine with unique elegance and freshness.
In the glass, this wine has an intense ruby red colour with subtle garnet highlights. The intense aroma has distinct notes of rope red fruit and subtle hints of dried violet. The bouquet also boasts spiced fragrances.
Elegant on the palate. The notable freshness is paired with excellent, mature tannins, boasting depth and pleasant to the senses. Excellent, well-balanced and long finish.
