50 year old vines, spontaneous fermentation, 6 months of lees ageing in steel and oak foudres. Flagship Cuvee with stone fruit and iodine intensity. Ripe white fruits (apricot, peach), white flowers and mineral notes. Tasty, powerful and round, with perfectly integrated acidity. Great aromatic persistence. A complete wine: elegant and delicious, harmonious and complex. Long potential of ageing.

Since its inception in 2000, Attis has gained an almost cult-like status in Spain, recognised not just for the purity and complexity of their Albariños but also their ground breaking 'Atlantic Reds.'

The Farina brothers call the shots here, Robustiano and Baldomero, ably assisted by French oenologist Jean Francois Hebrand and the extended family, including Robustiano Jr. The 12ha estate is located in the Val do Salnes in the heart of Rias Baixas. The vineyards (almost entirely pergola trained) overlook the Arousa estuary and the Atlantic beyond. The rhythm of the estate is of course dictated almost entirely by the ocean and no wine better encapsulates this than Attis Mar which was submerged in a (secret!) inlet and gently rocked by the currents for six months.
