Pomerol is a beautiful appellation on the Right Bank in Bordeaux and everyone seems to love the style of wines produced there.
Wines from Pomerol are often prohibitively expensive, so it is a treat to have found Chateau LEnclos, that I would argue offers incredibly good value indeed.
85% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Franc and 3% Malbec
Ruby red in colour, with a nose of red fruits, fresh wood and mild tobacco notes. A fresh, round and generous palate the finish is juicy with subtle aromas of cherry fruit.
